Sovereign Health specializes in mental health, substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment for men and women. The rehab has numerous facilities in California, Florida and Arizona — the Chandler, Arizona location offers residential treatment exclusively for women. The program utilizes evidence-based treatment modalities combined with a holistic focus for a well-balanced and sustainable recovery. Clients are encouraged to examine and understand how and why their maladaptive behaviors evolved and to set realistic goals for a happy and fulfilling future.

Despite advances in women’s rights in the last century, domestic violence still affects millions of women every year. To address this issue, Sovereign Health created its women’s Chandler center, specializing in victims of trauma and abuse as well as treatment of the mental health and substance abuse issues that often accompany it. Our women’s addiction treatment facility is located in a relaxing and confidential setting in Chandler, Arizona, supplementing our recovery program with the serenity and calm of the desert.

Accredited by the Joint Commission, our Chandler facility offers dual diagnosis treatment of co-occurring disorders tailored to the particular needs of the individual. Our clinicians employ a host of therapy models geared toward trauma victims and those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), including trauma groups and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR), a form of therapy designed to reprocess traumatic memories in a healthier manner.
