It is dedicated (mission) to providing services for individuals, family members, and relevant others who are adversely affected both directly and/or indirectly by substance abuse and dependency.
An additional component of the program includes anger management. The Center's regular operating hours are Monday thru Thursday 7:30 AM - 9:00PM, Friday 7:30-5:00 PM.
Oakmont Center is a private nonprofit (501-C-3) facility.
Oakmont’s multidisciplinary treatment team includes
- treatment and prevention counselors,
- a registered nurse,
- a consulting psychologist,
- and other adjunct health care professionals
- as needs might dictate.

Moreover, fully certified by the Alabama Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation, treatment is conducted in a relaxed, caring, safe and confidential environment.
